What is DUPR?

DUPR is a rating system that helps players determine their level and find others with a similar rating. It is based on an algorithm fueled by the results of matches. We record all league scores to DUPR. We also report scores from our DUPR Match Play sessions and our in-house tournaments. If you participate in any of these, we will ask you to create a DUPR profile so we may record your scores.

Prime Pickleball Club Code of Conduct

  • We here at Prime Pickleball want everyone to be respectful and courteous to all players, regardless of level or skill
  • We encourage appropriate social behavior and good sportsmanship
  • Any person who acts inappropriately or disrespectfully may be subject to have their privilege revoked for play at the facility
  • Your cooperation is needed to make Prime Pickleball Club a safer and more enjoyable place to play

Safety on the courts

  • Stretch and warm up before play. Stay hydrated between games while playing.
  • Learn to return lobs correctly. Never back up on your heels. Instead, turn around and go back to get to the ball. Serious head injuries can occur if you fall backward.
  • Be sure to drink water, replenish electrolytes, and eat appropriate snacks.
  • If you are injured or don’t feel well, you may get a substitute to finish the game in your place.
  • Avoid hitting the ball with excessive force, especially above the chest, at your opponent, as this may cause serious injury.
  • Be careful when near the net posts, walls, and fences. One point is not worth a serious injury.
  • When playing with a partner, communicate such as “mine” or “yours” and avoid hitting your partner while both are trying to play a ball hit down the middle.
  • Do not play if your movement or judgment is impaired by alcohol or drugs.
